Marg Helgenberger Marg Helgenberger, an American actor, gained fame for her performance in the tv show "Ryan's Hope". The show has been a memorable journey for the small-town girl to Hollywood. Her dream was never of becoming an actress. She wanted to follow in the footsteps of her mother and be a nurse. She became interested in acting while visiting colleges and deciding which degree she would follow. In a college show, she was discovered by a talent-scout who recommended her to pursue making a career as an actor. Alongside 'China Beach and 'China Beach', she was also offered roles in television and films, including 'Ryan's Hope'. One of her most well-known roles was her portrayal of an exposure victim to chemicals in the cult film "Erin's Brockovich'. Despite a hectic schedule, Marg manages to make the time to support charities and host an annual celebrity golf tournament to raise money for awareness of breast cancer.
