Yael Stone

Stone was born in Sydney and grew up in the city. She studied at the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) as well as at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began acting when she was just a child. She acted in roles such as Me Myself and The Farm. At the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards she was named Best Newcomer and with Best Supporting Actor for her work in The Kid. Also, she appeared on television as a supporting actress in All Saints as well as Spirited. From 2010 to 2011she was a part of The Diary of a Madman, a role for that she was once again nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the Sydney Theatre Awards. In February of 2011 she traveled to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of The Diary of a Madman in the spring of 2011, before returning to her leading roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
